My experience in Journalism, Marketing and Business Development is what leads me to Freelance Writing. Growing up in Dallas, Texas and attending both Sam Houston State University for a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Theater and University of North Texas for a Masters in Journalism and Minor in Marketing, gives me the educational edge I need to write professionally.

In my last semester of graduate school I jump in and start working at a small agency, OnMessage; where I manage accounts such as Aquire and Paranet Solutions, launching new Websites and overseeing day-to-day operations at an advertising agency.

I then move to The Point Group, where I manage CreditPoint Software, Lingerie Miami and Enterhealth. Point Group gives me a taste for how larger agencies work and a different perspective on how each piece of the marketing puzzle is strategically put together.

As anyone in marketing and advertising will tell you, working on the client-side is very different from the agency-side of the marketing business. I take this to heart and change directions with a Marketing and Business Development Manager position at Complete Landsculpture. Here I reestablish the company as experts in the industry of luxury landscape and home improvement by revising all messaging and written communication.
